It seems that both the ISO maintenance of OOXML and the actual version of the format used in MS Office is unclear. They say [http://www.microsoft.com/openspecifications/en/us/programs/mcpp/default.aspx] here that what MS Office really uses is ECMA 376. But then who does use the ISO format? Will I be able to interoperate with others if I try to implement the OOXML ISO standard?
That might be a dumb question but is ODF implemented in any MS Excel version and if yes, how good is it?
Thanks!
